Quality system specialist — EN 9100 and continuous improvement
You keep ESM’s quality management system alive, certified to EN 9100:2018 and ISO 9001:2015: documentation, internal audits, corrective actions and preparation of customer and certification audits.
What you will do
- Maintain the document system (procedures, instructions and records) and check that it is applied on the shop floor.
- Plan and carry out internal audits (system, process, product and GEMBA), write the reports and follow findings through to closure.
- Manage non-conformities and corrective actions using the 8D method, with root-cause analysis and verification of effectiveness.
- Track quality indicators and prepare process reviews and the management review.
- Prepare and support customer and certification audits, and take part in the transition to the IA9100 standard.
- Train staff and raise awareness: EN 9100 requirements, product safety, FOD and prevention of counterfeit parts.
What we look for
- Licence, master’s or engineering degree in quality, industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Two years or more of experience in quality systems in industry; aerospace or automotive is an asset.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100; an internal auditor qualification is an advantage.
- Practice of problem-solving tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA and PDCA.
- Fluent French and technical English, written and spoken: customer requirements are often written in English.
- Rigour, clear summarising, teaching skills and the ability to state deviations as they are.
What ESM offers
- A quality system applied every day: daily QRQC, SQCDP boards and four types of internal audit planned each year.
- Structuring projects: IA9100 transition, the Aero Excellence approach, and deployment of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- A single site where every function is under one roof: you see the effect of your actions on the shop floor.
Apply with your CV, in French or English. Every application is read by human resources and by the QHSE manager.
