Five DMG MORI machining centres arrive from Japan

Three NHX 5000 horizontal centres and two NMV 5000 five-axis centres strengthen aerospace machining capacity in Tunisia.

On 27 October 2023 five new DMG MORI machining centres built in Japan arrived at ESM in Ben Arous: three NHX 5000 horizontal machining centres with pallet changers and two NMV 5000 five-axis vertical machining centres.

The investment has two aims: to strengthen the aerospace industry in Tunisia, and to give our customers reliable solutions and additional technologies, with horizontal machining and pallet automation for series parts, and five-axis machining for complex aluminium components.

Like every machine in the park, the five centres were purchased new and are equipped with part and tool probing.

Five DMG MORI monoBLOCK five-axis centres arrive in Ben Arous
Four DMU 95 monoBLOCK with pallet changers and one large-envelope DMU 125 monoBLOCK, to our knowledge the first of their kind in Africa.
