Stores manager — stock, traceability and shipping

You are responsible for the stores of an aerospace machining site under customs control: receipt, storage, supply to the shop floor and shipping, with a stock that is accurate in the ERP and traceable batch by batch. You lead the team of warehouse operators.

What you will do

• Organise receiving: quantity checks, delivery notes, material certificates and handover to incoming inspection.
• Guarantee stock accuracy in the Odoo ERP: locations, batches, movements, cycle counts and annual inventory, with analysis of discrepancies.
• Keep stock records consistent with the customs regime: every entry and exit is documented and reconciled with the customs declarations, together with the logistics coordinator.
• Supply the shop floor on time against manufacturing orders, and anticipate shortages with planning and purchasing.
• Manage the stock of cutting tools and consumables: reorder points, replenishment requests and slow-moving items.
• Supervise the preparation, packaging and loading of shipments, including flows to and from external processing.
• Lead the warehouse team: organisation of work, training, versatility, safety and discipline.
• Keep the stores up to standard: 5S, marked areas, segregation of non-conforming products, FOD rules and safe handling.
• Track and report indicators: stock accuracy, service to production, stock value and obsolete items.

What we look for

• Licence or BTS in logistics, supply chain or industrial management.
• Five years or more of experience in stock and warehouse management in industry, including at least two years leading a team.
• Command of an ERP for stock management and of Excel; Odoo is an advantage.
• Knowledge of the fully exporting company regime and of customs obligations on stock is an asset.
• Knowledge of inventory methods, FIFO and batch traceability; a mechanical or aerospace environment is an advantage.
• Leadership, organisation, rigour and integrity.
