Security officer — access control and site surveillance
You guard the access and the premises of an aerospace machining site operating under customs control: every entry and exit of people, vehicles and goods is checked and recorded, by day, in the evening and at night.
What you will do
- Control access at the gate: identify staff, visitors, subcontractors and drivers, and guide visitors to their host.
- Record every entry and exit in the register: identity, vehicle, time, purpose and person visited.
- Check goods coming in and going out against their documents (delivery note, exit voucher, authorisation): under the customs regime, nothing leaves the site without a document.
- Carry out surveillance rounds of the buildings and the perimeter, especially in the evening and at night, using the site’s surveillance equipment.
- Apply the instructions in case of incident, intrusion, fire or accident: raise the alarm, give first response and inform the designated managers.
- Keep the logbook and report every anomaly at shift handover.
- Enforce site rules: safety instructions, restricted areas, confidentiality of customer parts and documents.
What we look for
- Secondary-school level; able to read, write and keep a register in French and Arabic.
- Two years or more of experience as a security officer or guard on an industrial site; experience in a company under customs control or a fully exporting company is an asset.
- Knowledge of access control, surveillance rounds and fire safety instructions; first-aid or firefighting training is an advantage.
- Clean criminal record (bulletin no. 3).
- Vigilance, integrity and discretion: you apply the same rule to everyone, courteously and firmly.
- Good physical condition and availability for shift work, including evenings and nights.
What ESM offers
- A position of trust on a certified aerospace site, with written instructions and clear procedures.
- Training in the site’s rules: customs regime, safety, confidentiality and traceability of movements.
- A company that has grown from about 20 to roughly 150 people in six years.
