Warehouse operator — material, tooling and shipping
You run the stores of an aerospace machining site: receipt of raw material and consumables, storage, supply to the shop floor and preparation of shipments, with batch traceability kept in the ERP.
What you will do
- Receive raw material, cutting tools and consumables: check quantities, delivery notes and material certificates, then hand the batch over to incoming inspection.
- Identify, label and store every batch in its location, keeping traceability and first-in, first-out rotation.
- Issue material and tools to the shop floor against manufacturing orders, and record every stock movement in the Odoo ERP.
- Prepare, pack and load shipments, including parts sent out for external processing and their return, protecting parts against impact and foreign objects (FOD).
- Carry out cycle counts, analyse discrepancies and flag reorder points.
- Keep the stores tidy and safe: 5S, marked areas, segregation of non-conforming products, handling rules.
What we look for
- Baccalauréat, BTP or BTS in logistics, stock management or equivalent.
- One to two years of experience in an industrial warehouse; knowledge of a mechanical or aerospace environment is an advantage.
- Comfortable with IT tools: ERP transactions and Excel. Experience of Odoo is an advantage.
- Able to operate a pallet truck and a forklift; a forklift operator certificate is an advantage.
- Rigour, organisation and reliability: in aerospace, a batch that loses its traceability is a non-conforming batch.
What ESM offers
- Stores integrated into an ERP, where every batch is tracked from receipt to shipment.
- Training in aerospace requirements: traceability, FOD and product safety.
- A company that has grown from about 20 to roughly 150 people, where growth opens positions that are often filled from inside.
